Despite the NFL season is months away from kicking off, Caesars Sportsbook has already released their over and under for regular season win totals for the 2023 season. There are some teams that stand out amongst the rest and are projected to be the top teams in the NFC.

1. San Francisco 49ers

The San Francisco 49ers are projected to lead the NFC in the regular season with their line being at 11.5. This is very logical as the 49ers have arguably the most complete roster in the NFL. Along with this, they will not have much competition in their division. Although the Seattle Seahawks have a solid team, they can not compete with the 49ers.

As long as Brock Purdy can continue to be a serviceable starter for San Francisco, the team should be well on its way to the top seed in the NFC playoffs if they can remain healthy. They have a plethora of weapons on the offensive end, one of the top pass rushes in the league, and a very solid secondary.

2. Philadelphia Eagles

If the NFC East was not set to be one of the most competitive divisions in the NFC this season, the Philadelphia Eagles would likely be the team projected to win the most games in the conference. However, as a result of the Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants coming off of playoff appearances last season, Philadelphia’s line is set at 10.5 games.

They had an incredible offseason and somehow are coming into the season with an even stronger roster than last season when they fell just short of a Super Bowl. Jalen Hurts is set to have another incredible season and the addition of D’Andre Swift should add another dimension to an offense that is already almost impossible to stop. While the team had a tough loss in the loss of C.J. Gardner Johnson, they still will likely have one of the top defensive units in the league.

3. Detroit Lions

Shockingly, the team that has the third-highest line for regular season wins in the 2023 season is the Detroit Lions. They are tied with a line of 9.5 wins with the Dallas Cowboys and New Orleans Saints. Vegas is very high on the Lions after the incredible offseason they put together. On top of being one of the most active teams in free agency, they also had a great run through the draft.

The sportsbooks are projecting the Lions to take a big jump this season after the team had an incredible stretch through the second half of the season. Jared Goff was back to playing in his prime form, and the Lions’ defense was also playing at a very high level. If they are able to continue this in the 2023 season with the new additions they added over the offseason, they could end up proving Vegas right and being one of the top teams in the NFC.
