While most players take some time off immediately following their retirement, Tom Brady’s historic work ethic has followed him into his post-football life. He was recently photographed with famed YouTuber Mr. Beast (Jimmy Donaldson) and the picture has led many to speculate that a collaboration between the two may be coming in the near future.
Donaldson has made his rounds in the headlines due to his recent grand gestures of philanthropy. One of these acts included donating money to allow one thousand people who suffered from curable blindness to receive treatment. Along with his charity work, Donaldson is also known for his extravagant YouTube videos in which he puts thousands and, at times, millions of dollars into creating.
There are two likely avenues in which the collaboration between these two could go. The first would be Brady being featured in one of the videos on the Mr. Beast channel. This video could include football challenges that highlight Brady’s still elite throwing arm. There is a chance participants could be set to face off against Brady in a gauntlet of football-themed challenges, and if they are able to best the G.O.A.T., they could receive a large amount of cash or a mind-blowing gift.
Alternatively, the two could be working together for another charitable cause that would open a lane for Brady to lead the charge in former NFL players giving back after their football careers. While this is a very interesting pairing, it is bound to lead to some incredible content and potentially some life-changing work being done.
