As speculation around a potential trade for Aaron Rodgers swirls in the air, New York Jets’ head coach Robert Saleh has publicly addressed recent acquisitions and the ongoing rumors during an interview with NFL Network’s Judy Battista at this year’s Annual League Meeting.
“Two years ago when we first got there, just thinking about where we were and how far we’ve come,”
Saleh said about Rodgers intending to join the club.
“To have a guy like him want to play for us is pretty cool and shows how far we’ve come. But we still have a long way to go and a lot of work to do.”
Despite being humbled by the question, Saleh refused to reveal any information: “We have nothing for you.”
During the NFL 2022 season, Aaron Rodgers earned 48 touchdowns and threw for 4299 yards in a total of 16 games. His impressive completion percentage was 70%, while his average passing yardage per game was 269.2 yards. These remarkable stats cemented him as one of the most successful quarterbacks in history!
