Elon Musk vs Mark Zuckerberg in Colosseum
It’s possible that the Colosseum in Rome might be the venue for the proposed cage fight between Elon Musk vs Mark Zuckerberg, as the government has offered to provide the location.
The rivalry between Tesla CEO Elon Musk and Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, which began as a social media joke, has gained momentum and the support of UFC president Dana White who wants to organize a fight between them. Both men are said to be very “serious” about it. In October 2022, Musk, who had bought Twitter, replied to a tweet about Zuckerberg’s jiu-jitsu skills that stemmed from rumors of Meta launching a platform to compete with his own. He wrote: “I’m up for a cage match if he is.” Zuckerberg hit back with, “Send Location.” The pair settled on Las Vegas.
It has been suggested that the fight could potentially happen at a very historic location – the Colosseum in Rome. Apparently, an Italian Minister of Culture contacted Zuckerberg and proposed that the 2,000-year-old venue be used as the site for the fight a few days ago. According to TMZ Sports, both Zuckerberg and Elon Musk are interested in having the fight at the Colosseum in Rome. Musk also tweeted on Friday morning that there is “some chance” that the fight could happen there.
After the two billionaires agreed to the fight, pictures of Musk grappling with black-belt podcaster Lex Fridman, who said he was “extremely impressed” with the billionaire’s fighting form. Georges St-Pierre, one of the greatest MMA fighters of all time, has offered to train Musk, and he has accepted the offer. Musk did not respond to an earlier offer from former kickboxing champion Andrew Tate. Several well-known UFC stars, including Jorge Masvidal, Dominick Cruz, and Hasbulla, offered their services to Musk. But went with St-Pierre. On Saturday, the ex-champion in the welterweight and middleweight divisions made a public statement, expressing his willingness to assist Musk. “I’m a huge fan of yours, and it would be an absolute honor to help you and be your training partner for the challenge against Zuckerberg.”
Three days later, Musk took him up on the offer. He replied alongside several fire emojis, “Ok, let’s do it,”.
Jon Jones, the UFC heavyweight champion, has stated that he is supporting Mark Zuckerberg vs Elon Musk. Additionally, he has offered to train the Meta CEO for his debut in MMA. It would absolutely be one of the biggest MMA streams ever.
