To a report by ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Sacramento Kings have agreed to a one-year, $3.1 million contract with center Nerlens Noel.
He played for the Brooklyn Nets on a 10-day contract earlier this year and then ended the season without being signed by any team. He has a total of 467 regular season games under his belt throughout his career and is currently 29 years old.
In his most recent season, he played for both the Detroit Pistons and the Nets. Throughout a total of 17 games, he had an average of 2.1 points and 2.7 rebounds. During his best season in 2020-21, he played 64 games and had an average of 5.1 points and 6.4 rebounds.
In the 2013 NBA Draft, Noel was chosen by the New Orleans Pelicans as the sixth overall pick, but he was eventually traded to the Philadelphia 76ers. He previously played for the Dallas Mavericks, Oklahoma City Thunder, and New York Knicks.
